Chainalysis Partners with Top Japanese System Integrators to Boost Compliance Network

Chainalysis, the blockchain analysis company, today announced two new distribution partnerships with leading Japan-based system integrators Hitachi and SB C&S. These companies are the latest to join Chainalysis’ expanding list of both technical and service-oriented partners within its partnership program, launched in April. The program allows Chainalysis to build on its mission to promote the safe adoption of cryptocurrencies by building trust among government agencies, exchanges, financial institutions, and insurance and cybersecurity companies across the world.

Hitachi is one of the largest system integrators in Japan, and will be value-added resellers for Chainalysis. Hitachi is primarily focusing on working with the public sector. SB C&S, a SoftBank group company, is one of the largest distributors in Japan and Chainalysis is the first blockchain-related solution in its lineup.

“The demand for advanced regulatory and compliance solutions continues to grow, and blockchain is a key component in modernizing our existing practices,” said Yohei Honmi, Executive Director, SB C&S. “With over 1,000 resellers in Japan, we needed a partner to help maximize our reach as we connect with customers across the nation and Chainalysis’ leading investigative and compliance solutions complimented our business perfectly.”

“We’re looking forward to working with Hitachi and SB C&S and helping the region onboard blockchain technology safely and compliantly,” said Jason Bonds, Chief Revenue Officer, Chainalysis. “As we continue expanding our global footprint, it’s important for us to partner with companies that will help us in meeting the demand for cryptocurrency investigative software and blockchain technology.”

Chainalysis continues to expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific region, recently partnering with four leading Australia-based payments providers to enhance due diligence and monitor risk activity across the sector. Chainalysis also recently released the first of its kind Geography of Cryptocurrency Report, examining regional differences in cryptocurrency adoption and use cases on a global scale to help businesses and individuals better understand cryptocurrency and its use cases.
